hemi-spherical. This again leads to a distortion around the periphery of images generated by the flat perspective projection. An example may be seen in the animation at Figure 9: 2.) persp.mpg |

equivalent orientation with respect to the starting point of our projection. However, the colored parameterization must rotate the full 360 degrees to match its original orientation. (367k MPEG Video) (487k SGI Movie) 3.) FermatModAnim_sgi.mpg |
Next we show off projection cuts with scalpel, unlike other split poly tools we're not limited to a single poly at a time http://www.peranders.com/c4d8/sampl...ojectioncut.mov Of course all cutting tools allow you to automatically select the polys or edges along the cut if you so wish: 4.) projectioncut.mov |

I put the space projection mode to texture an assigned the material to a simple plane. I rendered the anim (just a camera move) and got some flicking in those little noises, like this : http://pasto.alterheberg.org/Images/pS3.mov Any hints on this ? I put a stick texture tag of course, I collapsed geometry in UVW and changed my projection mode to UVW, I tried huge AA 5.) pS3.mov |
I don't have DiTools, but the DSP projection works fine for me as long as I subdivide the spline a good bit: http://www.3danvil.com/Waves_DSP00.swf 6.) Waves_DSP00.swf |

Using basic trigonometry you can calculate the FOV angle necessary to keep the projection width constant while the distance is changing... Here is the top view: http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/stuf...tigo_effect.mov and here is what the camera sees: 7.) vertigo_effect.mov |
